macOS Security 1. Password Fields (Secure Event Input)
When entering password fields or authentication dialogs, macOS enforces Secure Input mode, blocking third-party keyboard hooks to protect credentials.
Workaround: Switch language manually (Caps Lock / F19) prior to typing, or switch via the macOS menu bar.
TCC Permission 2. Accessibility Permission Desync After macOS Updates
Following macOS system updates, Apple's TCC database may occasionally fail to grant Event Tap events even if the toggle appears enabled.
Workaround: Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, toggle KeyXamathi off, and turn it back on.
Buffer Timing 3. High-Latency Terminal / Electron Applications
In slow-rendering terminal apps, an automatic watchdog monitors event tap responsiveness and recovers immediately if any delay is detected.
Reporting: If you encounter any unexpected behavior, open the "Stability Report" window inside the app to submit diagnostic telemetry directly (100% opt-in, zero keystrokes). Verify or delete your report anytime on our Privacy Architecture page.
